Jamal Cumming blasted 7 homers in 8 games to set an AAU record while leading the Nats to a 5th place overall finish in the 24 team National Championships. Cummings also picked up two wins on the mound for the Nats. The Nats defeated
Strongsville Ohio 12-1, Teaneck New Jersey 8-5, & Hanover, VA 7-1 to win their pool. In double elimination the Nationals defeated Ohio Storm 6-2, lost to Va. Shredders 7-5, beat Central Va. Mustangs 7-1, beat Strongsville OH 3-2 and lost to Tidewater Drillers 10-7.
